General Class Information
Our
SharePoint Training consists of
instructor-led, hands-on lab oriented
courses which are currently offered in
several locations throughout the U.S. In all
but our Seattle location, each
student must bring a
qualifying laptop to class for the
training. The courses are led by
expert SharePoint
instructors and include step-by-step,
fully documented lab exercises in a
comprehensive student workbook.
In each of our
training locations (except Seattle)*, hotel room,
breakfasts, lunches, and refreshments at
breaks are included in the cost of the
training. The hotel lodging begins with the
night before the class starts. Checkout is
the morning of the final day of class.
Classes run from 8:30–4:30 daily, except for
the final day of class. On the last day of
class, we try to get you out by 2:30 – at
the latest by 3:00. We do not recommend
scheduling a departing flight from any of
our locations before 5:30, to be on the safe
side, unless you are planning to skip part
of the last day’s class. If you
need additional nights of lodging, we can
arrange those for you at your own expense.
Only in
our Nashville location do we have
a dedicated training center. In all other
locations except Seattle, we do the actual training in one
of the conference rooms of the hotel at
which everyone stays.
*Our
Seattle, WA training location is unique
in that it is a fully equipped computer lab.
Students are not required to bring laptop
computers to our Seattle training classes.
The cost of our Seattle training does not
include hotel lodging or dinners.
Continental breakfast, lunch, and afternoon
refreshments are included. Seattle
students arrange for their own hotel lodging
and dinners.
Don't need a hotel room? If you
are a local student and do not need a hotel
room, or if you would rather make your own
lodging arrangements, you will receive $100
per day off the price of the class (except
in our Seattle location). Please
note this in the "Questions/Comments"
section of the online registration form.
Some of our locations charge a fee for
parking.
At our Nashville
training location, complimentary
transportation is provided by the hotel to
and from the nearest airport. In all other
locations, you will have to arrange for your
transportation, and it will be for a price.
At most of our locations, we have a recommended
transportation provider, who offers a
discounted rate. Details are available upon
request, and are also included in the
information you will receive by e-mail after
you register.
Of course, renting a car provides both the
greatest flexibility and the optimum
transportation assurance, as you are not
dependent on anyone else to conform to your
schedule.
We recommend “business casual” as a
guideline for dress in our classes. But
really, whatever you’re comfortable wearing,
as long as it’s not overly distracting, is
fine. We just want you comfortable and ready
to learn.
Throughout the week of class – during
breaks and after class, interaction with the
instructors and with other students is
encouraged. We want you to get the most out
of your training experience, and there is a
wealth of information for all of us to
share.
Registration
is done online on our
Registration
Page. We offer discounts to qualifying
registrants. Employees of government,
academic or non-profit institutions are
eligible for a $400 discount off the regular
cost of any of our courses. When two or more
employees of the same company register for
the same class at the same time, they are
each eligible for a $200 Corporate Group
Discount. And any student who has previously taken one
of our classes, or attended one of our
conferences, is eligible for a $200
Returning Student Discount. All discounts
and special offers are mutually exclusive,
and may not be combined with any other
discount or offer.
For class payment, we accept credit
cards, company checks, and purchase orders.
We do not
accept Microsoft Software Assurance Training
Vouchers. Payment arrangements must be complete
before a student can attend a training class.
We do not offer any "attend now, pay later"
arrangements.
Please feel free to call (615-515-0210
