I am currently working in sharepoint 2007, and cannot seem to get the Incoming Email feature to work. I followed Microsoft's guide, created a MX record and host name inside of DNS. got SMTP configured. but when I try to enable incoming email in the document list, I get a vauge "Error in application".
Also, When I change the application pool account from a network resource to the account i created (SPADMIN) users constantly get asked for credentials when they log on to the company web…
any ideas??? Please Help! Thank you! Gowan
