Ricky Spears is an instructor and author for SharePoint Solutions. He authored the popular SharePoint 2007 MOSS Core Features, SharePoint 2007 MOSS Advanced Features, and Mission: Automation – SharePoint Workflow and InfoPath classes. He has taught SharePoint to hundreds of students at some of the largest organizations in the world, including: AMD, BMW, Boeing, BP, Citigroup, Dell, Microsoft, U.S Army, U.S. Air Force, and hundreds of others. Prior to joining SharePoint Solutions he worked as the Senior Webmaster for Allegacy Federal Credit Union where he designed and built the organization’s first intranet, and later migrated it to the SharePoint platform. Ricky’s focus in business has always been on process improvement and automation for both the employees and customers of an organization. Ricky’s personal mission statement is, “Empower. Challenge. Advance.” He says, “The work we do every day is ultimately all about people.
