First let's go over the structure of a DocumentID in SharePoint 2010.
The default DocumentId structure is <Prefix>-<ListID>-<ListItemID>
The <Prefix> part of the DocumentID will be a unique string for every Site Collection. The prefix can be changed to something more meaningful by going to the Document ID Settings page in the Site Collection Administration.

If you want to co-author an Office document, the following information can save you some headaches.
The people who want to co-author must open the same file/document, stored in the same location (that supports co-authoring) and it must be opened using the same type of client.Supported Servers:

The short answer is no. You can't point a Media Web Part to a picture library or a directory/folder with images and have it produce a slide show.
You can change the image that people see when the video isn't playing. This is done from the "Change Image" drop down on the Media | Options [...]
